On 19th June 2025, NHS England published You and Your General Practice (YYGP), which sets out the standards patients can expect from their GP practice, as well as how patients can play a role in supporting their GP team.
The new requirement is designed to strengthen patient understanding, enhance communication between practices and their populations, and provide greater clarity around practice processes.
